Course Description
Digital Entrepreneurship

Duration – one semester, weekly in-person lectures. The module addresses (1) Defining Digital Entrepreneurship. (2) Differences between digital and traditional entrepreneurship. (3) Role of digital artifacts and digital platforms. (4) Typologies of digital entrepreneurship – Pure vs. hybrid models.

Learning outcomes:

(1) Demonstrate an understanding of the complex, multidimensional process of digital entrepreneurship.

(2) Proactively sense, formulate, objectively evaluate, and communicate digital new venture ideas.

(3) Learn how to develop, validate, pivot, or discontinue new venture ideas by adopting experimental models of entrepreneurial action.

(4) Develop an evidence-based elevator pitch, presentation, and business plan to sell new venture ideas to gain multi-stakeholder buy-in.
