The objectives of the course are the following:

• To provide students with the necessary knowledge of the legal system of Cyprus by analysing the sources of law and the structure of the courts (judicial system).
• To familiarize students with the broader framework within which laws and the legal system operate, including principles of legal interpretation, human rights, and how these influence the application of legislation and legal analysis.
• To help students understand legal issues related to companies and the business environment.
• To provide students with essential knowledge of case law (judicial precedent) and the legislative framework that affects the operation of companies and businesses.
