Learning Objectives and contents:
The course aims to provide students with a solid knowledge of a selection of economic theories and approaches focusing on the entrepreneur and the entrepreneurial behavior. From a history of economic analysis perspective, the notion of entrepreneurship is explored in relation to innovation, technological change, information, risk and radical uncertainty. Following a multidisciplinary approach, also the non-economic factors (such as psychological, sociological, institutional and cultural) affecting the entrepreneurial behavior and creativity in general are fully investigated, together with their implications for economic dynamics and development. The recent developments in social and sustainable entrepreneurship are also investigated.
