Course Philosophy
This course provides students with a broad understanding of entrepreneurship and analyzes the key traits of a successful entrepreneur in the tourism and hospitality industry.
Objectives
Students will learn how to prepare a business plan and conduct a feasibility study. They will be introduced to key financial management tools such as calculating the weighted average cost of capital and understanding how borrowing affects it. They will also become familiar with investment evaluation techniques, funding sources, and the strengths and weaknesses of different financing options.
