During the study course, students will be introduced to the role of information technology in managing organizational processes, the theoretical foundations of business data analysis, and will also learn to use office software to automate business management processes, analyze, summarize, and display business results.
Key learning outcomes:
The aim of the study course is to create an understanding of the role of IT in managing an organization and the possibilities of using various data and to develop practical skills in working with organizational data and information, using it independently or working in a team.
Tasks of the study course:
– to promote understanding of the role of IT in managing an organization;
– to promote understanding of the possibilities of using data in an organization;
– to improve the ability to use the capabilities provided by office application software when working with organizational data;
– to provide insight into the principles of data visualization and examples of good practice;
– to develop skills in noticing data processing optimization opportunities in the company.
