The aim of the course is to introduce students to the concept of business models as well as to the process of creating new business models. The course guides students to recognize the basic building blocks of a business model, to understand the importance of innovation in business models of the modern digital age, and the challenges that arise.
During the course, students will study new business models through cases of existing businesses, which maintain innovative models based on Internet technologies. The course also includes the study of topics such as open innovation, network effects, crowdsourcing, and crowdfunding.
