The subject is based on the knowledge acquired during the bachelor’s studies. The aim of the subject is to introduce the public policy, the role of customs and tax administration, as well as the knowledge necessary for the successful acquisition of further specialization subjects and provides knowledge about the organization of the public sector, the operation and reforms of the public sector, public sector finances, the financial and budgetary system.
The subject provides an opportunity to understand the interaction of the state and international institutional sector with tax and customs administration, is a specialization subject that provides an overview of the public sector economy, financial and budgetary systems, and the development of the system, and the purpose of which is to introduce the financial system in Latvia and abroad.
